This course is highly practical. Your cooperation is important. If you develop a teamwork spirit, you will be on your way to becoming a successful television producer.
All assignments submitted for this course must be the student’s original effort.
You are bound by the general University and College of Humanities and Social Sciences rules and regulations governing academic activities. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are familiar with the relevant rules and regulations.
You are required to attend all scheduled classes and to be punctual. The instructor reserves the right to deny you entry into the classroom if you are late and especially if your late arrival is persistent or disruptive. A legitimate absence if foreseen should be communicated to the instructor ahead of the affected class(es). If unforeseen, a valid excuse for being absent should be communicated as soon as possible after the missed class.
All assignments are to be turned in on time. In the event that you cannot meet a deadline, please inform the instructor by following the same procedures as those stipulated for absence from class.
Plagiarism is absolutely prohibited and the consequences can be severe, ranging from awarding of a zero to expulsion from the University. While the instructor will guide you on what constitutes plagiarism, it is also your responsibility to educate yourself about it. The University does not tolerate plagiarism and we expect that none of you will take unethical shortcuts in your class work. Any cases of plagiarism will be forwarded to the disciplinary committee.
During the semester the instructor will be pointing out to you the generally accepted conduct in the scholarly community, notably the avoidance of plagiarism and other practices that constitute academic misconduct or dishonesty. If in doubt, consult the instructor.
